Cassie, I think we all "lose" it sometimes. Annoying things keep happening and building up and you finally have had enough. I really don't blame you. In Florida i try not to let it happen though. There are too many people here that will do just about anything so i keep it in. You hear of people pulling guns out for road rage and even simple disagreements. It's better to hold it in and not let it get out of control.
Let's not forget it is your inalienable right to be shot at by crazies....

Oh, I don't want to violate their rights.
It's sad to realise that life seems to be governed by threat and intimidation whether through individuals with knives or guns through authorities through fines and other punishments to nations with nuclear deterrents. People are raised to learn that whoever has the biggest stick has the best hand and everyone else are peasants.

This sounds utterly cheesy, but it has always been true - even in the dinosaur age - only the strong survive.
There are a lot of power games and struggles for power in the world: both in business, politics and personal relationships. You have to be tough to survive. Plus, if you show weakness you're attacked, like a T-Rex hunting its prey.
It isn't fair and it isn't right, but it is true. It is the harsh reality.

I think you mean that we are at the top of the food chain.?
Coz covid has proven we are not the strongest. It's bacterias, and viruses who hold that title.

COVID-19 could wipe us out.
Governments and scientists are working to defeat COVID-19. The virus could kill me, too. I am not exempt. If I catch the virus, I could become sick and die.
The world has suffered great tragedy: the human race will never forget.
Are you telling us that busses are the top of the food chain? :0
Maybe not. Perhaps a black hole? They eat everything
Except:
What could defeat a black hole?
Black holes, the insatiable monsters of the universe, are impossible to kill with any of the weapons in our grasp. The only thing that can hasten a black hole's demise is a cable made of cosmic strings, a hypothetical material predicted by string theory

I don't know about string theory but there is Hawking radiation Maybe nothing is invincible

I know a little about science. But my dad is the expert! He's read loads of books about scientific theories and the whatnot. I have a vast interest in science, such as cosmology and physics. I don't have a degree in these subjects but I am very interested in them.
