I went out & about town with my sister today. I bought myself a gorgeous pair of earrings. I also helped cook dinner: we ate Chinese duck pancakes with noodles and orange sauce. I have to say it was rather delicious.

I was later driven home and am now back on the computer. It has been gorgeous weather here today, too.

I have had my daily shower. I am drinking my cup of coffee. I have posted on Facebook. I shall be cleaning my apartment shortly.

As for the weather: it is fairly sunny but a little cloudy. I do have my windows open, however.

Responded to a lot of work emails. Have to grade assignments still. Drinking a small latte right now. Will be exercising a bit later today.

It should be a rather easygoing day overall, as I'm not too swamped with work... just enough to keep me busy and balance some extra tasks in my free time.

It was one of those summer walks yesterday after the rains. One of those where you get a totally saturated lower half walking through the wet grass in the fields and drying out as you walk along less grown up areas before you get home. I met one other walker on my travels with similar experiences but it's interesting how devoid of walkers the more overgrown tracks are now lol

Took my morning walk, cleaned up and had breakfast. Now settling in on my computer to do some work.

After a good walk in the woods this morning Ive been a good girl and cleaned all the upstairs windows inside and out.. If I ever buy another corner house someone slap me.. It just goes on and on!

I am waiting for a delivery: I have ordered a new mattress. Yesterday I received my order of a metal bed frame.

I have been emailed by the mattress company that I must wear a face mask and keep a two metre distance when the delivery men arrive. I have also paid extra for them to remove the current mattress. I'd have no idea as to disposing of a mattress: and my housing association don't want a mattress sitting outside their properties. Plus, I have no car. That is why I paid an extra $30 to have them remove it.

I have put on a load of laundry. I am airing out my apartment*, too.

*Oh: I have decided I shall always live in an apartment. The reason is because if I lived in a house I'd be housebound. I'd hide in the house and would never go anywhere. With an apartment you can't do that. I need that push to keep my life from ending up like that. Plus, a house requires a LOT of work. It is a full-time job looking after a house. Hoovering 4 bedrooms would be a nightmare. I won't put myself through that.

I have written a new poem this morning. I have made myself a cup of coffee, too.

I shall be cleaning my bathroom and kitchen later this morning. Oh: my mattress arrived yesterday. Sleeping on it felt so comfortable and chic. I will have my metal bedframe constructed on Friday.

I love sprucing up my apartment! You should even see my new loo seat: it is a pink floral design and is gorgeous.

Thursday and shopping day typhoid Mary was out in force people who thought because they've been vaccinated they no longer need to wear a mask silly fools.
It's hot today so we decided to our walking routine on its head.
We did the short walk this morning and this evening as the sun has started to set will go on a longer walk.

i'm looking at airline tickets so i can fly to nintendo headquarters and choke the life out of the idiot who created the switch.

I have just started to undercoat the coffee table I am going to give my daughter for her birthday, or xmas, depending on how I get on...

I think when you are using terms similar to "it would take forever" you have to add the word 'like' as in: it would take like forever"
