My nana Dublin born and raised used to say Mary mother of God and Jesus Mary and Joseph.. She also used to say I'll jump on your carcass.. But my dad always understood it as I'll jump on your carpets and he thought that was strange because they only had lino in the house!

My aunt in Ireland uses the term Mary, Jesus and Joseph. Being an Irish woman this isn't surprising. She is also very religious: she was taught by nuns at school as a child. Those nuns were vicious. One of them smacked a girl's head against a wall: yes, really. BUT my aunt learnt a lot. She goes to church every Sunday. She has religious items in her bungalow in Ireland, too.
My aunt is definitely a decent person: unlike that nun!
I went to an all girl convent school from kindergarten until 9th grade, no nun would dare to touch even my finger nails. When I was in 6th grade, my mother got my hair permed. One of the teachers told me my hair looked like Moliere's wig, in front of the entire class. I told my grandmother and the first thing she did the next day was to pay a visit to the principal's office, Mother Marie Jeanne.

That is one of mine, and it finally made me look it up.
It originates from a boxer called Larry Foley in the 1890s, before boxing was fully legalised. He won the biggest prize of about $150,000 dollars and a newspaper article in New Zealand had the headline “Happy As Larry” and the phrase stuck.
