I have to agree with this. A black hole cannot be measured. That was my understanding when learning about astronomy as a child.

By measured I didn't mean by size. I meant that it's existed could be proven ie measured against scientific facts

Black holes make me think of wind, you dont see the thing itself you see its the effect it causes..
