Big eyes!

the head is too big for the body, eh?
When I saw it, I thought it must be a photoshop but there are videos of it running around.
The dog is up for adoption from an animal shelter

This morning the unthinkable happened... but according to the other owner it was my fault.. I should correct my dog.. I shouldnt be so uptight , Im a silly cow..

That was the comments of the owner of a dog this morning ... He was cycling with his dog way in front of him.( dog not on lead). It came charging round the bend in the park and just launched itself biting and snarling at me and Benny ( Benny was ON lead) it was all over Benny and the owner was nowhere in sight..

I pulled Benny away but the dog kept coming, pushing through my legs to get at Benny again , so... sorry but it got a kick in the ribs from me to keep it at bay..

Owner arrives says 'ah he just wants to play' 'If he didnt your dog would be injured and hes not so stop making a fuss'..
I tell him theres no way it was play, that Benny is 14 and blind so he cant even defend himself because he cant see where the attack is coming from.

Then tells me all of the above reasons for it being my fault and cycles off...

When I get a good look I see Benny is injured so I put him and Remy in the car and set off to find the man..
I did find him and I tooted and pulled over, he got really aggressive that I dared to toot at him (wasnt interested that Benny was injured)  but I got his name and a photo of him and Bennys injuries.....He has about 1cm of skin missing from his ear and then a puncture wound straight through and a tiny puncture on his cheek..Ive bathed them and made sure they are clean..

Ive reported it to the police..
Benny has been very quiet all day.. At one point he laid on his cushion and Remy went over and laid in front of him as if he was guarding his friend..
I felt really angry at the arrogant attitude of this man about injuries his dog caused to an elderly disabled dog , and I wish I had been quicker to act and prevent it..

Dogs are people too because they become part of your family. That footy ref is an A-hole! People should bring up their dogs like they do with their children, unless of course they don't raise their children properly. Cass, good luck to you and Benny.

I was taking my dog along the old railway track yesterday, when I heard motor bikes coming behind me. I turned and looked over my shoulder, he must have thought I was going to step over that way as he jammed on his brakes and skidded right past me.

At which point he started swearing at me. Had he been in my face I would have responded, but he was further ahead.

When I got further along, they were heading towards me, and then they both stopped, and turned off their engines. I thought "here we go" and remembered how big my dog is .

Well, they never said anything, so he must have realised he was in the wrong, but you won't get an apology from a yorkie.

Ok, time for a puzzle that has baffled us since dinosaurs roamed the earth.

How come when the dog greets you it can whack it's tail repeatedly and violently against sharp door corners, sharp cooker corners, chair legs etc etc etc etc

Yet, step on their tail with the softest slippers and they are howling like stuck pigs?

Ours has now gone into heat, so it is that fun time when you have to lay out sheets and mats, and of course wipe up as you go.
