All those naysayers were proven wrong! They are doing so well with legalization.... even people who are a bit anti-marijuana are in favor of it now because the money is going to schools and such. Great stuff.

Nationally legalisation is a good thing and it will happen. Other states will see Colorado's success and will fall in line. Perhaps a bit of weed could help you unmix your mind.
I do smoke a little weed, when I can get some, it has been hard to come across of late. However, I am in a mixed mind of legalising drugs.
On the one hand taking them can offset your life to a greater or lesser extent. It did mine. On the other hand, drug takers can spoil other people's lives. Bad enough having a telly stolen costing £400 to find that it sold down the pub for £30 to get some bozo high.
Well, there might still be limits on how much you can legally buy or possess, but I haven't looked into it because it's not happening where I am anyway =p
The dispensaries have medical grade stuff, I think. So you can get specific strains which is better. Avoiding strains that give you bad effects would be nice. Like me specifically.. I don't necessarily want ones that get me the high feeling, I want ones that calm me.
But you know how it is.. some people will abuse it and give it a bad name, and some won't. Can't do much about that. At least so far it has been a good thing in Colorado.

Three weeks ago a report came out listing prospects for legalisation this year: Sure things: Nevada, Cal, Maine, and Arizona. Probables: Connecticut, Michigan, Ohio, RI, and Bernie Sander's state, Vermont.

Today listening to PR I heard someone say that the minimum age for running for President should be raised to 74. I wonder if that was Bernie/Weed related.

I knew that would pick up on that! Sarah Palin ran with John McCain and they lost. I was going to call you Michelle Palin, but we already have a Michelle. Of course, I could be Joan Cleese . . .

If weed was universally legal there wouldn't be a need to deal with this "crime" as long as the parents were well behaved. I would much rather have them tokin' on a joint than doing serious drugs there.
Depends. If you have a small amount, then it doesn't impair you really. They have done tests where people got high, and they drove somewhat better than while sober.. they became more cautious lol
If it's a small amount to help with ailments, then it would be similar to having a low dosage of anti-anxiety/depression or pain meds or something, and plenty of parents take them and drive their kids to school. Higher doses of any medications can impair you, and I view cannabis similarly to prescriptions. Nobody should be "out of it" when they have responsibilities to tend to.
Back to the story, I think it's inappropriate to do that around kids regardless (or in view in this case), but I am also strongly against smoking cigarettes around kids..
Why not wait until you are further away??
