However, it is not a new phenomenon, when I was teaching mine discipline, there were plenty of parents setting a bad example.

Oh dear today we went to a museum.. There were three children who's parents were nowhere to be seen running riot. They touched stuff they shouldnt screamed through presentations and climbed on exhibits..

I really thought of kicking them into the sea but OH said he needed me to drive home so he wouldnt let me..Pity

oh yes i hate that too, i hope that M has good manners, im not one to think children should be seen and not heard, or that they should stand quietly at the side of their parents at all time, but i do believe they should have respect for other people, not running around shops where people are shopping, if they do accidently bump into someone, have the manners to apologise, and parents should always make sure they can see their kids, make sure they arent putting them self in danger, and make sure they are polite.
Ms behaviour in the house is one thing, but i hope to god i have a polite child out of the home!

Im well aware we all loose our temper, i know i do, and yes i do raise my voice at M sometimes, but the things people put on FB is beyond me, a friend i have has wrote a status.. had no effing sleep because of my effing daughter deciding to be up till 5 playing and now all shes doing is effing crying FFS shut up!!
really??!! if you wasnt ready for sleepless nights and a stroppy crying child, guess what.. dont have kids. cant do with people who moan about their kids all the time, the other day she said she let her daughter feed her self for one meal, 'never again she threw noodles on my wall' haha trust me love, noodles is nothing compared to other stuff that will be smeared on walls soon enough.
just annoys me how people can be so annoyed at their kids for things like that, like i say im not perfect, far from it and yes i do loose my temper with M like any human does, but the way this girl speaks of her daughter sometimes makes me sick!

I do certainly agree with you,but I try to tell myself, that others will use that as an escape valve. If that helps them cope, then perhaps it is best for the child.

Yeah, a lot of people post way too much stuff on social media sometimes. I guess it can be a good outlet.. especially if you feel like everyone who likes it understands you and feels the same.. even though sometimes those likes are more like pity likes lol

yes it can be, but you have to be really careful what you post on social media, this same girl posted telling everyone she smacks her bum when she wont sleep, i wont judge anyone on smacking, i tap malakai when hes been naughty but not for not going to sleep, and nowa days its frowned upon to smack your children, the wrong person sees that and shes in alot of trouble.
