First of all the good news is that there is no real damage, now for a large micro meteoroid. Thankfully wasn't a gigantic one or there might have been serious consequences.

Or even end up as a spacebug on the windshield of an alien spaceship?

Maybe they should be called undocumented space travelers.
I suddenly realised that we have generally thought of them on equal terms and would possibly just look like another race. Do we call (insert a race of your choice) aliens? If so any immigrant would be an alien. That is likely a racist comment?
Alien has definitely been used in a negative or racist way over the years when really it's just simply a being who does not come from the same place... country or planet. Which we can all fall under that category if we leave our "homeland." It's a foreigner, but I actually like the way alien sounds; makes you sound more interesting lol
Some use it as a way to dehumanize people, though... like they are not 'one of us,' and they are bad or negative for looking differently... but I would never use it to mean it in that way.

Reading that really makes me feel how insignificant my intelligence is.
How could we possibly know what is going on to such depth 19,000,000 miles away. That is the equivalent of travelling around the world 760 times. Most of us, have not even done that once.

The universe is massive. You can't even measure it with a number. But - whatever we know or don't know - we are part of this universe.
It is incredible to think and imagine how the universe looks from outside of the earth. Plus, seeing earth from space is an utterly wonderful thing. Our planet is truly magnificent.

The universe IS expanding: and will just get bigger and colder. It is called the "Inflation Theory". Scientists are also studying dark matter and dark energy to see how this affects the universe. There is something in the universe that is stopping it collapsing down upon itself.
I believe dark matter and dark energy are like the ocean of the universe: it expands and rolls like the ocean. But what precisely it does, I do not know.
