I now have a gap in my back tooth. This means I have to go to the dentist in two weeks time: not great. But my tooth does need dental treatment. But once it's done, it's done: and it'll be over with!
Many people have said that sunscreen loses it's effectiveness after that sort of time. The bad thing is that its not easy to see what the active constituent is in say something like a protective moisturiser rather than a pure sunscreen cream.

True, most sunscreens don't last very long, but it's definitely worse when it becomes toxic on top of not protecting you from the sun! lol
Your products don't show a breakdown of the ingredients with percentages for the zinc oxide?

They probably do and now I'll look. What I am getting at is that there are probably more ingredients in moisturiser so picking out the active one for sunscreen would likely be harder than for pure sunscreen, at least for the un-initiated.
Thinking back to artists paints there are threewell known basic whites - lead based which isn't generally used now and was only used in face creams years ago (with obvious results) - Zinc white which has less effect but does not create such a 'dead' painting (ie it doesn't kill the vibrancy) - Titanium white which can easily deaden colour but is far more effective. All have been used on the face but, thinking between the lines, maybe zinc is used because of lesser effect on the complexion? Maybe I'm overthinking this as an artist lol

Makes sense about the zinc and paint; you're probably right!
I'm not sure I've had any moisturizers or foundations that had SPF qualities without it stating so on the front (it's their selling point I guess), so maybe in most cases you won't have to worry about it being hidden in there... unless now they will stop advertising that because of the information about zinc oxide LOL anything to continue making money.

No I don't think I have had either. I just have not looked at the ingredients to see which are extra in the moisturisers with SPF.
I read today about a ....well what it looks like a bicycle helmet fitted with infrared lights. These lights are are beamed onto the head of the wearer at a particular frequency and apparently doctors are saying that it could improve the memory of dementia patients.

Do you just wear it around the house or doctor's office for a few hours each day or all day every day for a while? etc etc How often and where!?

Six minutes twice a day for two months showed memory improvement during tests.
