Hi Everyone

Hello everyone

I just signed in yesterday and thought I would say hello. I am here thanks to a recommendation, but also see a few familiar faces, Hi Cassie (thank you), Rebecca and Emily. Sorry if I missed anyone but am still looking around, and hello to everyone else here.

My home is in the East Midlands, UK. I like all kinds of things and have many hobbies, some of which I will mention from time to time. One of these is art (see my avatar for one painting). At the moment I am not working, but have a background in technical and scientific fields so just tell me if I am getting too nerdy lol. My last job was in healthcare, working with physically disabled people. I still do lots of research into all manner of subjects but perhaps never concentrate long enough on any single thing. I just love learning!

These days I have a bit more time on my hands as the children have grown and flown the nest. I still keep busy though.

I love being out in the countryside and going for long walks chatting to other people I meet. That said, I also enjoy shopping, even just going to the supermarket - and chatting to people there as well - I love chatting lol.

Well that's all for now. Sometimes I could rabbit all day!
