Thank you for all the well wishes. I'm not quite 100% yet but the fever I seemed to have seems to be pretty much gone.
This morning I did pretty much as usual for a Saturday. I mowed the lawn then watered the plants as required, and made up some more stock concentrated hydroponic solutions from powder. Next, of course, the best bit - pampering

I am sorry I missed this but I am glad you feel better Jen, I am like you, I tend to move around even when I feel sick.

I baked muffins this morning, since it was cool in the kitchen. I also hand-washed dishes (voluntarily, and not because I was running out of containers that don't go in the dishwasher, hee hee) and I got the kiddos to do their laundry. Then it was time to check-in with the budget one last time for the month, and make sure next month's is ready. (Probably the first time I've ever had a budget line for an upcoming trip. Go, me! LOL)
When the kiddos took an after-lunch rest, I started a snail mail letter to a penpal. I pulled out three different colours of lined paper and a selection of coloured pens. Fun! (I think that I'll be looking for stationery at the huge bookstore we'll visit at the end of August. Besides books, of course!)

you are the first person I know that have a penpal.

I LOVE snail mail and writing letters to my friends. I often use fun stickers and artistically designed writing sets. I have three writing sets and alternate them.

I prepared the meat for tacos before eating breakfast! (Very unusual for me not to fuel myself up first.) Also steamed eggs while I was doing that (rather than boiling; I have a better ratio of correctly cooked and not cracked by using the steaming method).
I exercised indoors this morning, including a stretch routine since I think many of my muscles are underused, tsk tsk. I do prefer walking outdoors, but I'm letting the nearby bear have the neighbourhood these days, and I didn't feel like driving to the park this time in order to have a safer place to walk...
I also washed dishes by hand. I admit this is one of the cleaning tasks I tend to put off. So much easier to load up a dishwasher. I guess I should stop using so many dishes that need to be hand-washed?
And I think I just "frittered" away the afternoon, aside from cleaning in the bathroom. Although I did just remember that when I got out the dusters, I had the youngest follow me around to learn how to dust well. It was like having an apprentice! LOL
I gave my plants a good watering yesterday as I am out today. I also had a nice walk. I was going to take a photograph of a particular scene with a view to painting it but I forgot
I had a cooked lunch. It was good although I was a bit unsure though as the chillies I put in made me sweat which was not difficult in the current heat

I went for a walk in the park early, then we determined which books we wanted to return to the library. I also sent off a birthday card to my mum's bestie.
After lunch, we washed the floor in the kitchen and dining room. It was also a laundry day.
Good accomplishments, and plenty of reading material in the house. (Like we were suffering before with our own collections... LOL)
