Got some shopping this morning. Cleaned the kitchen and just leaving with Boo now for a walk round the woods.
Sending a hug/pets for Boo. How's he doing with other dogs and people? I can't recall what the last update was on that.
I maybe said that he wasn't doing well with people and other dogs?
Well he has gone downhill since then. We had a chat with a dog trainer, and apparently, this is becoming the norm for dogs. They are getting so interbred, they are becoming over reactionary. Especially working dogs, like Boo, a collie. Seems it has got bad with alsations too, and the police are not using them so much either.
We have made an appointment for him to come and give us a 2 hour session, and see if we can sort it.
In the house he is lovely in every way, and so easy to train. But when he gets focussed on something, he is deaf and blind to everything else, particularly us. I have had a few dogs in my time, but never one with a prey drive even approaching what he has.
My husband just told me that I should not focus on our move next March so I need to put the work things aside for now, besides, I am not sure if I want to come back to work for people.
Then, a recruiter called me. There is a very early stage start up about 8 miles from my house needing someone with my experience, they can't pay big bucks for the first two years but the job description is so enticing so I said " why not?'. Being a founder/co-founder of three businesses, I am very eager to be a part of the action again. I know there are quite a few people who are in the same position like me so I will see. They must have a lot of interest.

Time to climb back on the horse, Annie?
I misquoted myself. My husband actually told me to focus on our move next March and our trip in Feb, he did not think my getting back to work makes sense, so I withdrew myself from the interview process of two jobs this week.
But to help a start-up taking off is extremely exciting to me.
Finished attending a seminar and tired from the long traffic on the way home.
Worthwhile?
Yes, even if I paid $26 for the parking. Highlight of the day was that I got the calling card of one of the presenters that I wanted to reach out to discuss some things further.

Networking was always a big weakness of mine.
I used to justify my reluctance to it, by saying it was cheating. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.
We do, which will make finding another place very difficult.
It has to be at least the same size, have a level garden, and back onto either the woods, or a recreation area suitable to take a dog for a walk. ...and of course, we have to like it too...
It will be fairly local, as we do like the area, and the so's daughter needs support.
Staying put looks quite likely.
So why do you think about moving?
Woops, forgot to answer the question.
It's the steps up to the garden, there are seven of them, and the so has difficulty with them due to her hip pains.
We have a guy coming round soon. I am going to ask him for a quote for a rail on the steps. That could help.
