I never use shampoo, or conditioner unless my hair is actually dirty. I am just trying to remember the last time that happened. I think it was 2 years ago when I got very sweaty putting in a fence.
I don't use soap either, unless I really need it. Mostly during food prep. It strips the natural oils from your skin and disturbs the resident protective fauna.
I use moisturisers, though nothing special, on face, hands, and feet.
Make-up? Well one of us has to keep the industry going.

Well today I used soap on my essential parts. I used shower gel on my feet and back. I shaved my arms and legs. I washed my hair with apple shampoo.
I feel cleansed and refreshed.
If you are talking about your vagina. You are taking the risk of a thrush infection, at least.
The balance of bacterium in there is very crucial, as it is such a good growing medium. Bacteria, and fungi like dark, warm and moist. Much better to use warm water and rinse.
I do appreciate that you like your detergents, and that is fine for the rest of your body, but not your 'essential' part.
I was just wondering how common it is to purchase things over and over again for self-care/beauty purposes. I've been thinking it was not totally strange but I couldn't get my entire mind to conform to the idea. I want to bring a really stable foundation to my world in this life. Self-care/beauty products sprang into my mind as something that could do this. I do have a few pieces picked out. Once I get this and that chosen, I can randomly get something here and there during different future points in time while sticking to my list of "All Time Greats That I Want More Of"
I just had to state somewhere my conundrum. This is going to be great and challenging and I will have to be studious.

I have my staples that very rarely change.
I change my lippy, and my eye shadow when I am in 'going out' mode. But even this are 'going out' staples. I suppose I am not very adventurous. It's my age, I suppose, and that I am no beauty.

I have some things that don't change but I don't buy often so I buy when I need it. I think the exception is moisturiser. I tend to buy it in larger amounts. The body moisturiser even multiple tubs. Perhaps a couple of kilogram at a time, which lasts for months.

I very rarely wander from my standards, not counting nail polish. Every once in a while I will change my lipstick up but thats about it.

How do you guys style your eyebrows? I used to have fairly thin eyebrows but tortured eyebrows are not a good look. I want people to be able to see my shapely eyebrows, which they now do. I still pluck them but very carefully. I'd also like to try the Maybelline Eyebrow Tattoo product.
Basically, you lay it upon your eyebrow, then peel it off: giving you dramatic and sexy eyebrows. I may buy it on Amazon.
Over to you!*
*I didn't start this topic in its own thread because it seemed better to have it here.

I tidy my eyebrows a little, but mostly, I solve the issue with my fringe.

My eyebrows are pretty good but sometimes I do use and eyebrow pencil to darken them a bit.

I generally trim my eyebrows back a fit then use an eybrow pencil for definition.
I finally bought a decent set of brushes, normally I just buy the one I need, and it's usually a cheapy too.
But these better brushes are nicer to use.
Just one query, they don't come with instructions, One of the small headed brushes has a small plastic balloon behind the soft bristles. What is that one for?

I have never seen one of those and on having a quick look online I didn't find one.

Cherry, they do make all the difference in the world. .
I have never seen a brush with a little "balloon" on it. Now you have me curious.
Maybe the blob is actually dried glue and the machine went wrong and the hairs didn't get glued in the handle?
The only other thought I would have is that it is intended to be some kind of blender. I use such things in artwork at times but it sounds a bit too harsh for the face.

It is too solid for dried glue. Maybe too small to be a blender? It's only about 1cm
