I only heard the word from a girl from England that I worked with. She would say it at the end of the day when she was tired.

The first time that I heard "reckon" used outside of the U.S. was in Aus. Aussie-talk is cool because it kinda combines phrases from the U.K. and the Colonies.

Well, we're going to have similar words, American English originated from British English =p So we can't steal anything, we were the same thing, but now we have different dialects and words. We have branched off! :-)

It's fun to compare and see what we either still have in common or what has changed.

Aussies would probably say "Good onya mate; she'll be 'right". Translated it means "good for you; everything will be OK."
