Today looks like a beautiful day but tomorrow it starts to go downhill. It looks pretty certain that we have something coming our way. Either a tropical storm or even a hurricane. The models show it coming right over us now and possibly up to a category 2. Things will probably change some but we are definitely going to get something. A lot of rain is also predicted with possible flooding in some areas. Here we go again.

A rainy day here as the first round of the tropical weather starts. The main storm looks to be here Wednesday as a hurricane and as of now will pass just a few miles north of us. Not going to be the best week here.

It rained all day yesterday and will again today. Tomorrow a little less but Wednesday is when the hurricane will be here. Right now they are saying it will become a Cat 4 but by the time it is closest to us it will be down to a Cat 1. If that holds true it is good news if you can call it that. The bad news is that the latest model run has us right in the eye. That could change but for now that is pretty scary.

Thanks Cherry. It's not looking good. Milton id up to sustained 180mph winds and expected to go to 185 before hitting shear and dryer air. It looks to make landfall at 125 mph and decrease as it approaches us. We are under a hurricane warning now and it looks like Wednesday to Thursday afternoon will be the worse. Still will be updats and shanges. I have to admith that I am a lot more nervous about this one than any others before.

We are about 36 hours out from when we should be feeling the effects of the hurricane. It looks like when it gets here we will have 100mph winds and torrential rain. The possibility of tornados also. So for the rest of the night I am going to put a movie on and try to forget about it.

Not much has changed over night.We are still projected to be in the eye with 100 mph winds, torrential rain and we were just issued a tornado watch. It going to be a long couple of days. Keeping my fingers crossed. This will be the worst one I have even been in. We will see what the 11 am update will say.
