I'm popping on for a couple of minutes durning a lull in the bad weather. We just went through a massive tornado outbreak and not with small ones but really big ones. In two hours we had 23 confirmed tornadoes. We were lucky once again and none came into our neighborhood. Latest on the hurricane itself is that it has shifted again and the path takes it directly over our neighborhood. That will be sometime around 2 am or so. No sleep tonight.

So come on who else was running about outisde last night watching the night skies for the Aurora Borealis?

It was visible with the naked eye last night and may well be visible to those of us in UK/Europe again tonight..

Last night I was taken by surprise but tonight I will be ready and taking regular looks..

We were in shock when it happened. Nothing like that ever happened in a Florida hurricane. Usually there are a few small ones bit this number was unheard of and they were big and powerful.
