I find it strange when I think that I have not had a good cry for ages. Then there are periods when I weep at almost the slightest thing. There are triggers. Music is probably one. Occasion another. I remember the last olympics. When one of our athletes was on the podium and our anthem played I just instantly burst into floods of tears. It just happens with me. Heavy emotion brings things on.
No I don't think it's wrong not being able to cry but it is really stress relieving if you can. I do remember the relief when I have cried when relaxing in bed after a stressful day.
Sometimes I feel awkward if I don't cry in moments where everyone else does, but otherwise, I don't feel like something is wrong with me if I don't feel like crying or can't cry. Sometimes I'm cried out depending on how much stuff has been going on.

I used to cry more...teenage angst and all that. I've cried very few times as an adult. I think, my last good cry was in 2005. When I needed friends most, it was the loneliest time in my life.

2005, we have something in common there Crystal, I was going through a separation, pre-divorce stage.

I meant, "2006." Although I got divorced in 2005, it was in 2006 that I felt so lonely because I lost my two closest friends in 2004 and 2006, respectively.

I was finally free in June (22) of 2008! During my separation, I was busy trying to get it over with, after my separation, my girlfriends could not wait to match me up. I met my hubby's sister at one of those dinners ( girlfriends took turn to throw dinner party) and there it went.
That says a lot about you. OTOH, it says a lot about me that nobody tried to match me up.
I tried to match a person up but it didn't work out, first time I ever tried, She was no interested and he was also seeing something else, why did I even try I feel dumb. anywho...

Match me up?
I didn't even get the sympathy meals....
My favourite comment was from a friend, whose husband is one of the most boring people on the planet. She said to me "May I ask what made you decide to divorce?" Before I could answer, she just said "I expect it was the drip, drip, drip effect!"
She moved on the conversation, and I just thought "That tells me plenty about your marriage." The poor girl is still married.
