My brother went vegan and my mom went veggie only. I'm in Japan and I just can't get rid of rice and Iove it too. But I am trying to not eat breakfast, just lunch, dinner and trying to exercise. What about you wonderful women?

I count calories and try to not eat too many sweets, I guess I drink a lot of diet cokes

I prefer raw veggies dip in some sort of sauce.

But low salt , iodine, soya these are bad for my health. Since OH had a heart attack in 2014 we eat less fat, salt ,sugar, meat. We cut junk food too.

I still eat meat but very little. Most of the time it's chicken, turkey or fish. I eat some hamburger once in a while. I lean more toward rice and pasta with veggies than meat. Or potatoes. Veggie spaghetti with spaghetti sauce and tofu is delicious. I don't eat much tofu cuz I know it's shelf life can be tricky. I try to buy it when I know I'm gonna use it up. Spaghetti squash is my favorite.

I am on a carb controlled diet. I only eat the carbs I particularly enjoy, and I want to pay the price for at any given time.
