My wife didn't want me to eat it, but I nibbled on it. I tried to wait and see if others were going to devour it, like my intentions were. After day 2 and nothing, I just said "what the hey.." and last night, ahh yeah, it was heaven in my mouth.
I can't say no to cheese cake brownie or chocolate chip cookies.
I don't do things like that... lol my brother and dad probably would, though.
For me, it's all about ownership. If It's my cake, then there is little holding me back. But if it's shared, then I couldn't possibly touch it.
I just eat servings... I like being able to eat the same thing more than once. Sometimes we'll even do half a serving for desserts to stretch it out further. I get my moneys worth lol
I feel terrible, because it was supposed to be for my wife and my son, dang, misery, I am inpatient. I woke up at 2am, after waiting a few days, but I still got scolded. I will try to do this better next time.
Heatherly, you are smart a_muppet, you got patience, that I don't have, which I now really need.

I can imagine eating lots if I liked them but I have never really fancied one and only tasted a little. It looks like there is enough on the white chocolate lime cheesecake for everyone here, ready sliced. It would be a good way to entice guests to reveal themselves

I do that when I make a cheesecake to take somewhere with me. It's amazing how many people don't know how to properly slice one.

No I know why my family was upset at me, I didn't slice it right and I didn't share, now I now. I will investigate this "cheese cake slicing talent" you speak of.

The trick is to buy small desserts. Less calories, less shame/guilt. Like the two-bite brownies I bought today. So good, and pretty small!
If you buy bigger, you MUST share. For me, this is partly because of the sugar content. I need to divide all that sugar amongst more people, especially if their bodies can handle sugar better than mine can!
I don't always follow this, but I'm getting much better with lots of practice!

It is is that, often, it is cheaper to buy big ones and eat them in parts. The problem is that they are so tempting
