This is weird. A few days ago. I told my 1/2 brother "I love you brother" and his reply was "me too" at first, I was like "what?"
Do you think "me too" means "I love you too brother?" I asked a co-worker (guy) and he said it might be "I love you too" but I was like "doesn't it sound weird like if I say I love you brother and he said "I love me too"
I didn't know to take it. I just dropped it and accepted that he meant "I love you too brother" I wanted to know that but I guess I was expecting too much.
Have you ever been told that?
Do women say that?
I never heard "me too" in all my 40 years of breathing this great air on earth..
what do you think?
am I over-analyzing this again?
**sigh**
help me ladies.

He probably meant it the same way when people say ditto.
If he meant it as loving himself, then I am sure it would have been a joke that you both might have chuckled at in the moment.
Some people feel uncomfortable saying the L word, so that will be a way they say it if someone says it to them first. I imagine that feeling might be seen more often in men, especially when it is another man saying it... brother or not. Maybe he will warm up to saying it back one day, but if not, then don't take it personally.
