No.. they are still men.

They are men with problems , men who dont fit society , men who need re-education, men who may have been set bad examples or been traumatised themselves.

Im not saying they should be given a free pass, what they are doing is criminal but its more complexed than just finger pointing and name calling.

Again as mothers we need to set the example to both our sons and daughters. My sons have been taught respect by me and their dad, we set the example , we showed there were ways to solve things without violence.

We gave all our children the confidence to be themselves and to express themselves without violence.

When a BF raised his hand to my daughter ( he didnt strike her) she gathered her belongings and walked out telling him it was over. He didnt understand and said 'but I didnt hit you' She said no but the intention was there and thats enough.

She had the confidence and the strength to walk away to know she deserved better.

That was what we gave her...

My son is seperated from his wife ( she cheated on him) he remains civil and friendly he has paid for her driving lessons and two cars ( she blew one up) he does repairs at her house always supports her when she has appointments or difficulties because he says as the mother of his children and as a person he loves she still deserves his respect and help.

We gave him that ability to be a compassionate man.

We as parents , aunts , uncles and grandparents shape the way our children grow, if we do not set the example and we do not give them the strength to be confident and compassionate then they cannot be 100% to blame when it goes wrong.

If you mean religion a person subscribes to his/her "higher power" (Sexaholics Anonymous teaches that even 'you' can be considered a HP higher power), then that changes the meaning for traditional (church/mosque/temple) kind of thinking into "me" (my laws, my temple (place of sacred)) you see my point?

We might escape the word "religion" but we can't really separate us from what we "hold dear/true/belief/sacred" (hence, "our beliefs" or I like to call it "religion")

How irreligeous say "I don't pray to myself, I don't go to my own church" but that is not the same because even they don't pray to themselves, they "ask/mental dialouge' on what I should do?" and that is like a prayer (Christians ask God, what should I do) so Praying can also mean "talking to myself" but they dont' call it prayer, but it's the same thing, to me.

I have many similarities and I'm just saying that I think their "religion" (opinions/beliefs/sacred truths they hold dear) actually does matter, if they will tell you them, and if they actually believed whole heartedly in them.

For example, we can say "do good" and we kind of "know this" but what is good, to what extent is "good" meaning, good outwardly but inside just "think/fantasy/medidate" on anything, as if to say "I'm good" but outside only "good" and not truly "inside good"

See, that is just one word.

Loving is another, some say "I'm a loving person" and that all sounds good, but what exactly "is" loving. We have to define our words and others don't use the same books

Bible vs dictionalry vs Koran, vs Buddhists text, vs society vs friends vs family

but we know this the "golden rule" and some claim "I do that" but really? do we?

Am I always acting in loving, caring ways, towards others, as I would want them do to me?

Turn on the TV news to find what is our crisis.

We need help but others get "help" and "different help" in other ways.

1. drugs = feel good, yes, but beneficial for you? no

but people have all kinds of drugs (lust is a form, addiction another) an all feel bood but beneficial?

Some say "Well, I'm not hurting others" mmmm yes, we are. we are hurting others and what we do has an effect on those around us, but they don't want to admit it.

I have read so many stories of women who've put up with violence from their husbands/boyfriends. What they don't realize is that their "partner" could well be narcissistic or a psychopath. Perpetrators of domestic violence can have these tendencies. These are psychological traits that can exist because the person was born that way or learnt to be that way.

Of course, being a psychopath or narcissist is not the normal way of things BUT there are people who are those two things. Also, you can't always tell a psychopath by a bloody knife: psychopaths can be far too clever to be exposed like that.

Anyhow, if the woman thinks it'll stop or that she can change him: she is wrong. He could even end up killing her, if she stays with him.

In this case the boy had a father who beat his mother. His mother stayed with her abuser.. this was the example he had been set and so it was the one he followed..
Meeting my daughter taught him that not all women will put up with that kind of abuse.

I find a loving leader to be the best quality of a man. He leads a relationship or the people not with iron hand but with empathy and caring heart. He listens to understand and he talks to impart wisdom. That's at least based on my experience.
