Venerable Christians the world over mark this weekend as the most holiest, juxtaposed by sorrow and joy.

Jesus Christ, the Christian anointed Son of God, will suffer a haunting crucifixion, only to rise and ascend to heaven on what is now known as Easter Sunday.

Jesus trial and subsequent murder is substantiated in several scriptures, including roman trial records.

The ascension raises conjecture since the only reference remain in Biblical records in the form of Gospels and Epistles.

The Jewish Orthodox High Priests of the Temple are typically held responsible for this carnage.

Something modern Jews resent this, causing more dissent between them and today's Christians.

The debate is somewhat endless, nevertheless, juicy.

So in your own words, who really was Jesus?

Rogue, defiant Jew?

Son of God?

King of the Jews?

Savior of Mankind?

Miracle Worker?

All of the above?

None of the Above?

Real Muslims (not the radical idiots) love and respect Jesus, Moses, etc.

Personally....I think he was just a dude made a deity by the church for political reasons and (although this is debatable) would not be a major religion today if not for Constantine adopting Christianity as the major religion of the Roman Empire.

(this was also been debated as to why, but some say it was for political reasons)

I have only read, and never digested, Koran snippets.

Since the Muslim religion today is growing by leaps and bounds, it would behoove me to do so.

Nothing is too sacred for me to question.

It's a good read, especially if you're familiar with the Bible.
