If he is as good as Carl Sagan was, I will be impressed. I copied some of his technique when I was lecturing. The way he would use wrong inflections would really convey messages.
He's a smart guy! I haven't watched The Cosmos, but I have read many of his quotes and excerpts from the show :-)
I'd probably watch the show if I had cable, I like things like that. I love almost anything related to the universe and planets. I especially enjoy looking at space photos, I can stare at some for the longest time in amazement!
Neil Tyson's Cosmos is a re-make of Carl Sagan's. He studied under him and he has a little story about him in one of the first episodes of the series. I have watched both versions on Cosmos and they are both EQUALLY awesome. Obviously Tyson's is updated and the effects are more modern, but they both have great points and are awesome to watch.
I didn't see that episode. But I saw him on the Daily Show. He was hysterical. He pointed out to Jon Stewart that in the opening credits, the world was spinning backward!
Look what he did... he stirred up the internet lol
“If the Pledge of Allegiance told the truth,” the astrophysicist wrote on Twitter, along with an image that read: “I pledge allegiance, to the Flag of the Divided States of America. And to the PACs, for which it stands, one Nation, at odds, divisible, with Liberty and Justice for some.”

I also like Carl Sagan.
Heather Universe is doing a topic on why cancer cells slow their growth in space.
