Ramadan again..

they can eat, just during sun set and sun rise, but it always falls around the time when the weather s hottest, when you really want a drink of water. the guy in the office is a stroppy bugger anyway but Ramadan makes it worse haha.
I hate eating or drinking in the office bcos i just feel guilty, like oh your not allowed a drink or food, but i am so i will eat it in front of you.

whenever he has meetings he offers the person food but he rejects for the same reasons as me, but he still buys him foods, he said 'its something i have to do so i dont expect other people to not eat and drink just because i dont'

i spoke about ramadan on the baby forum im on, there was a muslim lady who said when people eat or drink about her during ramadan she doesnt feel like they should feel bad, she doesnt expect them to wait till shes not in the room, its just life, they do it for their religion just like some people fast or give up their fave things during lent, or their other cultural things.

ive never heard of not been allowed on the internet though??

i know if you are pregnant, breast feeding/recovering after labour or you are under a certain age you dont have to fast, i know a few people who totally break the rules, my prev boss was muslim too, he would still drink alcohol at times he shouldnt (then again most muslims dont drink or smoke at all) but he wouldnt eat. i was in the sarny shop the other day, a guy went in for some chips, asked if he could wait outside so he isnt seen inside as he should be fasting, i also used to see them slying cigs behind my work too..
