Xmas

We keep our decorations up from like December 20 through the first of the year.

The house is awesome with 2 trees inside, and some pine tree outside all decorated.

You can see the outside tree from all across the bay, or if you're crossing
the Crandon bridge.

It must be nice to share from such a distance.

We always buy the Christmas tree the first time we see someone selling them, usually it happens around the 15th of December. This year I really hope to do it before my ILs come. I don't really want MIL to participate in decorating, as we like completely different things in everything! When we were living close she once brought me some feathers painted gold and said I have to put them on my Christmas tree and really took it as offense when then noticed I didn't do it. But Christmas is always very special for me and I don't want any ugly golden feather to ruin something. So not to do something like she wants and I don't I'd better do everything before she actually comes)))

Across the bay is too far. They would come out teeny tiny.

We just have the fake trees in Florida.

But in Virginia we cut down our own every year.

We miss that.

They say I'm hanging stockings person and I really am!

We do stockings, but near the fireplace at my grampa's.
We have so many people now, last year we laid them on his jukebox. LOL!

Giving Out Presents
