A couple of years ago OH and I saw a Queen tribute band ( Killer queeen) and they were great..Problem was OH wasnt feeling very well all eveing and the following day he had a heart attack.
So when we saw Queen tribute in our town this week we thought lets give it another go , because we both like the music of the band...
Duh,,,It wasnt the same band Dear oh Dear... they had more bum notes than a dog with the farts. The lead singer couldnt speak English well and so they sang Its a Kind of Megiec, I went to break Free and other such (not )well known hits.. Queenmania is a band to avoid unless you want to hear Freddie Mercury being badly imitated by a man who should be confined to singing in the shower..Im going to take an asprin for my headache and go to bed...and if you hear a whirring sound its Freddie spinning in his grave at this abomination claiming to be a tribute!
Ever wish you had just stayed at home with a cup of tea?
Cover bands should either be equal or better than who they give tribute to.
I often times wish I just stayed home, but that is mostly my anxiety talking =p There doesn't have to be anything wrong with the night; there are just times where I want to be home and comfy instead of out.
