Makes you wonder.. were humans (or something close to humans) living on Mars once upon a time? Do you think most planets used to be like Earth, and they are just a look at what's to become of our own planet one day?

I heard about this on PR yesterday. Although there may not be human-like creatures on Mars now . . . it's a big Universe, so I'm sure that some are out there.

Makes you wonder.. were humans (or something close to humans) living on Mars once upon a time? Do you think most planets used to be like Earth, and they are just a look at what's to become of our own planet one day?

Why Mars and other bodies do not have an iron core, thus a protective magnetic field, has puzzled scientists for years.

Also, exactly how our polar fields reverse themselves, about every 200,000 years, is also not understood.

Today on PR I heard that scientists are looking into the possible existence of another planet between the Sun and Mercury. This possibly new planet is named "Vulcan".

The scientist on PR ended his report by saying "Live long and prosper". The late Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock from Star Trek) is smiling.

I rather like that our culture is being used for our day and age.

When the other planets were named it was normal to use their current culture and name them after ancient gods.

So planet Vulcan is a very good choice.

Our science is quite strict.

And, nature hates voids.

So, life as we know it is pretty much here to stay, but not man necessarily.

We may have to add some new life parameters
if we find any non carbon life forms here or elsewhere.
