Around the garden

Those are beauties.

You just put it out of your mind Annie. I know thats easier said than done....

Right now, not too much but usually cucumbers and various leafy veggies.

Oh I do have lemon, lime, fig and olive trees as well as dragon fruit.

I want to be able to grow avocados! We still get a bit too chilly for them here unless I want a potted one, but I don't do well with potted plants lol

I think they are working on hardier versions, though, so maybe one day I will get my wish.

I throw some garlic in the pot three weeks ago but I have not seen anything yet.

Let's see, I usually have romaine lettuce, spinach, kale and arugula. 

I got a winter pony once for my kids. It ate our pear tree. Not just the leaves and the pears, he ate the tree....

So we decided to build another nearer the house.

So we bought one of these, it is seriously heavy lol. But some of the wall garden had to go.

That's about all I did. Andrea did the vast majority of the work.

I like your waterfalls. Much nicer than fountains.. my neighbor put up a giant fountain in their front yard lol looks like something you'd see in front of a town hall or government building. It's loud, too! Sounds like someone has a faucet running instead of a gentle stream sound.

That sure looks like a lot of work but I know it will come out beautiful.

Kale soup:


Fried garlic, purple oinion until golden brown then add chicken broth.
When boil, add kale, boil again, add an ( beaten) egg.
You can also add sliced mushrooms, then add salt and black pepper to taste.
