Do they need much care?

Cherry, not much at all. Every couple of months I trim a little bit but thats about it.

Andrea does get, shall we say "enthusiastic"?

There's not much left to do, fettling really, sorting out the lights, and poking little plants in between the rocks.

I didn't do much. I found a lot of the rocks and carried them back in a rucksack, I drilled the hole, and I am wiring up the lighting.

Andrea designed it, and did all the rest.

When is the best time to visit Florida?  and where in FL I should visit, night life, great restaurants, by the beach....

I think the spring is the best time. its not too hot and its pre rainy season. There are so many nice places but one of my favorites is Sanibel Island area. The nicest beaches there. A little more lively would be St Petersburg, close to Tampa and Ft Lauderdale closer to Miami. If you decide you want to come I can let steer you in the right direction.

It can be done affordably, but if you have a large lot... then you will have to spend big bucks.

These are all so lovely. I wouldn't say no to any of these. I really love the 3rd one.

I think if I had more time, not counting now, that I would get more creative.

My yard is just about completely green except for my lanai which really isn't fancy.

I used to have a lot of annuals but it became to much work. Maybe its time to try again.
