After some work in the house, and a short morning walk, I spent the afternoon in the garden repotting a couple of plants, picking loganberries, redcurrents and the last of the gooseberries, as well as tending my hydroponics, making up nutrient stock etc. I ended up spending most of the afternoon on this. It's only a little garden but it keeps me busy

I also ate lunch with him. We later had a cup of tea and a marmalade crumpet each. I am now home, after helping my sister prepare dinner.

It is quite hot and sunny here at the moment, so I am taking advantage and relaxing on a lounger in the garden.

I feel slightly guilty though, as Vanessa is still working on her last client of the day. I know she doesn't mind and she will be joining me soon.

I have kept her supplied with cold drinks in the meantime, so all is good

I have just finished with my last nail client for the day, so the rest of the weekend is free - yay

I am just about to get changed into my bikini and join Sophia in the garden, and soak up a few rays for a while

The horses have been taken care of and are quite happy, so it is our turn now.

After breakfast I had a busy time for a while this morning. First I mowed the lawn then attacked the brambles behind the shed. Luckily they were not quite as bad as I was expecting but they still put up a fight so I still have a few scratches. It did give me the opportunity of picking some redcurrents which were ripe there too. I ended up with an ice cream tub full of them. The main crop is not quite ripe yet, although the birds seem to be getting in there as they ripen. Don't you love them!

Sunday was horsey day for us

Mucked out the stable, cleaned the tack. We always look forward to the first task (not

On the evening, when it had cooled down, we set up a few jumps and gave the horses a workout. A good workout for us too by the way.

Afterwards we relaxed on our loungers in the garden, looking up at the stars, and drinking wine. A prefect end to a perfect day

It was my cleaning day today. After doing the cleaning, I got all hot and sweaty, so had to have a cold shower. My hair turned to grease, too. I shampooed my hair: and rinsed with cold water afterwards. I always have hot, sweaty hair: I hate it.

Anyhow, I am now online and listening to the radio.

The usual routine for us today

Shower and makeup is done. Sophia leaves for work in about an hour, and I have a full day of bookings.

At least the temperature is not going to be too uncomfortable today, so that makes things easier to bear.
