Would you like to have a gun?

Why would I? I dont live anywhere dangerous enough to need one and I dont need to hunt for food.



As for laws I think ours are fine

You are allowed to fire back, but you are not permitted a gun for self-defence. It sounds a bit strange.

Having been in the Military i had accesses to armory bren guns and 22,s and more had i needed to, was not really my thing and i was not really interested in them.

The stuff i have is in the Archery side as i am an archer and when i need to be good i can at our camps i can take a guy out at 300 yards and i have compeated with other,s i know are much better than i am those who we target are well dressed in armory and well covered .

i use a 35 lb bow i do have lots and some are 70 lb = thats the pulling strain i do have steel bows recurve and straight wooden so i do have all the gear i need ,

i,m a right hand pull, well i was and had to change sides and changed and redid the bow,s i use as many are for those who are right hand pull.so i do carry weapons when i need to other wise they stay at home

Knives , yes another story, i do carry a pretty good arsenal mainly for cooking some 30 odd as when i have other,s working for myself in the large kitchens i need a good supply for my crew plus all the other gear to feed and more 130 people full on sit down meal,s .

Oh yes here in NZ is a lot better as i have worked with our Police on assigment,
i have made sure we are covered concerning weapons so and let our guy,s know i do carry weapons when needed,

We dont in the main have much issues with guns as most are good  just a few should not have any at all. so thats us,

I do own a handgun, revolver, but it's kept in the house safely in a safe. I grew up with them because my dad is a hunter and he taught me how to use them when I was young. I have also taken gun safety courses in the past. I don't desire to carry it even though it is allowed to be carried concealed here in Florida and now without a permit. I do believe though that the laws need to be tightened up severely and some types need to be banned. It's been so long since I have even looked at mine I might as well not even own it. 

So it sounds like some may defend themselves against an attack of an armed person and some may not.

London is notorious for knife-crime. Gangs carry knives. The crime rate in London is very high: although the tourist industry doesn't want you to know that. If you're a tourist in London you're fairly safe. But you have to stick to the tourist areas. Some areas of London are no places for a tourist: as my poem of the same name says.

I guess, the time has come when we have to replenish the supply faster than the republican gun nuts can kill them.

But I have made my country's rules on guns clear and have nothing more to add here.

Personally, I dislike guns. We have the police here, and there is practically no reason to ever go around on the streets with a gun in your pocket unless you are a cop or part of a SWAT team.

As for gun laws, I would say that the Netherlands gun laws are great.

And if they use that handgun they are done for murder.
