While we have been unable to do much we binge watched ( 8 episodes) the BBC drama High country..
Well it led us a merry dance and I didnt have it figured out until the last episode. Which was nice but Im not sure if thats because my brain is pulp at the moment or if its because it really was a tricky one..
But Id say its well worth watching and it has strong female leads.

I have a choice ahead of me: Do I get three months of free Apple TV+ very soon to be sure the offer doesn't disappear from a rewards program app, or do I just sit tight content with all the DVD boxed sets on their way to my house very soon?
For new DVDs, I've got Red Dwarf, The Gilded Age Season 1, MacGyver (original), and a Babylon 5 animated movie (which I should watch after I finish the series already in my possession).
Of course, with Apple TV+, there are several sci-fi series and movies I'm interested in, plus Fraggle Rock and other family shows! I don't think any of those have been released to buy...

Any opinions on this fun dilemma?
If you haven't seen Red Dwarf, you are in for a real treat, but it may take a couple of episodes to really get it.

I watched it when I was a teen, I think. Or a little younger? I'm fairly sure it used to be shown on PBS, and I loved the British accents plus the sci-fi/parody.
We finished Earth Star Voyager today! I think the kids liked it, and I still do. I'm gonna start pestering Disney for it to be released on Disney+ and for sale.
I ran 800 or 1600 meters and threw javelin. I got a couple of medals county level.
I also got talent spotted for Surrey Womens cricket. I had trials but I was too young to be on the team. No great shame, cricket wasn't really my sport.

I used to always watch the olympics but for some reason this time I really don't have much interest in it.
I feel pretty much the same way. I used to watch it more, and also regularly watch the tennis here but I think we have overkill on the TV now where you are almost forced to watch some sport or other.
It seems to be getting more political too. I thought jokingly this morning, as South Korea has been mistakenly announced as North Korea, is it possible for Russia to sneak a team in as their flag no longer contains the hammer and sickle so the French would not recognise it

That's really impressive. Respect.
The closest I got was to be good enough for the school cross country team. Luckily the school never entered any competitions. I wasn't really all that great, I was just more determined than my class mates...

Thanks I just enjoyed being active. I started gymnastics aged 6 but soon grew too tall so athletics was second choice. I also loved dancing and acting and took part in a few am-dram things as a teen..

Not being coordinated myself, I'm almost always amazed at what athletes manage. They show how graceful and strong the human body can be! (I could easily show the opposite. ) It's like enjoying art when you can't paint or draw, but you love the beauty created by others...
The teens will likely finish Rings of Power Season 1 this week, so we'll be all set for the second season to release in August.
