Just finish watching the debate today, I never thought I would say this but I feel pity for Donald Trump. He looked lost, tired, angry, negative and the things come out of his mouth are just thoughtless, full of lies. He sounded very unprepared.

Youre very generous. He looked an idiot repeating lies that have been discredited such as immigrants eating peoples pets and the Harris team allowing infanticide. If it wasn't such a serious situation he would be laughable.

I've felt that way about him for a while because of him being elderly, but I still find him dangerous. It's definitely odd to feel both of those things at once for a person.

I started watching Charmed... the new one, not the old one. It doesn't quite have the same feel as the original based on the 1st episode, but I'll keep going.

I’m watching a series on “hulu”, “the Old Man” starring Jeff Bridges.
I’m only four episodes in, season one. But so far the show is fun and well written.
It is , I think, a geriatric version of the “Bourne Identity” and is both action and dialogue.
Bridges is an ex-CIA agent with a past. His character is well developed and the halting but direct manner of speech is both manly and charming. Oh, he’s sexy too.
The male characters are all solid, I hope the females don’t spoil it.

Last night, I watched one episode each of Foundation and For All Mankind. I might start to be more interested in Foundation soon - not sure if the other show has used up all its good ideas, but it might be getting close!
Thinking of going out tonight to see Reagan. Also interested in two other movies out this month: Transformers One and Wild Robot.

I’m hooked regardless.
That might be on our list, I can't remember, but sounds interesting!

Reagan was great!
The teens started The Hobbit trilogy (extended editions) while I was out. Guess I was too slow to enjoy that part of my extended editions 6-movie set... At least I was first to get into it with Lord of the Rings (the superior trilogy, IMO).

Trying to get into Kim's Convenience. I'm not sure.
Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile, and who love you no matter what.

Finished For All Mankind! Intense! Okay with the level of violence, but the language could use some cleaning up.
Interested in Foundation again, but also started La Maison, which was new on Friday. Yes, I successfully watched a French show! (Hooray!) I had the French subtitles on for just a little assistance, plus I already use captions anyway for English shows.
And the weekend was mostly busy with livestreaming/replays of ChosenCon 2024 in Florida. Sneak peeks of The Chosen Season 5 may end up online soon, but I enjoyed being one of those to see them first. Every little scene I get to enjoy is a good taste of a show that I love.

I didn't realise season 4 had started.... Thanks

Anyone up for a horror movie?
Maybe it is that time of year, but I recently watched an old horror movie (1977) “the Sentinel”.
The movie has a boatload of actors, the list is amazing. I actually picked out Richard Dreyfuss who only appeared as an extra. Jeff Goldblum, Christopher Walkin and Tom Berenger had bit parts. Jose Ferrer, Burgess Meredith and Ava Gardner had larger roles.
A few scenes were graphic and gross. But overall it was fun and didn’t seem dated.
So if you get into the Halloween mood, look up “The Sentinel”. It may borrow from other horror movies but you won’t care. It may make it more fun to look up the entire cast before viewing the film. It may make a nice drinking movie.

I've seen it and it is a great movie for the Halloween season.
We are watching the Twelve an Aussie drama about a jury. I will watch the latest Shetland but not with OH its too complicated for him and the accents throw him off.
We tried to watch a film yesterday , in fact we tried a couple but OH just couldnt cope with the level of idiotic plots. The fast action nintendo driving and unlikely gunfights had him huffing yawning and fidgeting before we were 10 minutes in..
We decided to watch a couple of episodes of Alma's not normal instead. ( not recommended for those easily offended)
