We tried to watch a film yesterday , in fact we tried a couple but OH just couldnt cope with the level of idiotic plots. The fast action nintendo driving and unlikely gunfights had him huffing yawning and fidgeting before we were 10 minutes in..
We decided to watch a couple of episodes of Alma's not normal instead. ( not recommended for those easily offended)
Would he be better with old favourites?
If I have to watch the African Queen ever again I might just put a pillow over his head.

I am not really one for action films, but you can't help seeing some of these fast driving and fast fighting scenes nowadays.
They don't look anything even approaching real. It's like as a kid, you would play your 33rpm records at 45rpm for the fun of it.

I finally watched Star Trek Prodigy Season 2! Hooray! There were no (legal) streaming options in Canada, and no explanation why. Had to wait to buy the discs, and then I watched it all in four days, ha ha! Normally, I wouldn't binge like that, but the long wait had driven me a bit crazy, and it was a good story over 20 episodes.
I've also started watching Christmas movies, including going to see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at the theatre. Definitely recommend that one!
I have just watched ep2 of Mr Bates and the Post Office. Horrendous!
Ive got it saved I haven't watched it yet. Seeing the smug sods at the inquiry made me angry. Seeing one dignified old Scottish man explaining how he was ashamed because he had suspected his staff. Watching him close to tears made my blood boil.
I will have to be calm and mellow before I can watch.

I am not going to contradict you.
As was said "You would expect a great institution, like the Post Office, would be honest, and run with integrity." and "I believed that I only had to tell the truth, and british justice would see me alright."
Expect to see the morals of a gangster being displayed.
